Bernie Purdie

BERNARD PURDIE was born June 11, 1939 in Elkton, Maryland as the eleventh of fifteen children. Purdie began already as a six-year-old to bang out rhythms on improvised equipment. At 14 years of age he purchased his first real drum set and became the most important provider for the family – earning his pay with country and carnival bands.

Manny “Hit Man” FasanoLatin, R&B, Rock Stars, SoulMusically gifted at a young age, Manny “The Hit Man” took the opportunity to study with New York’s broadway percussionist, Dan Haskins and Jeff Hirschfield at the Westchester conservatory of music.  Playing drums was never a conscious decision for Manny...it is a spiritual part of his being.  His timing and creativity is outstanding.....

 

Rusty "Rus" Paul

In tribute to the legendary guitarist, Les Paul, his son, Rusty (Lester G. Paul, Jr) Rusty has been carrying on the family musical legacy, by playing bass with his own group, frequenting the Iridium Jazz Club in New York City....
